Cancellation Policy

Understand how cancellations work for subscriptions and ongoing plans.

1. Overview

Smart Library is a subscription-based SaaS platform. Users can cancel their subscription plans anytime, but cancellation rules vary based on plan activity and billing status.

2. Cancellation by User

Users can cancel their subscription anytime, however:

  • No refunds for already consumed days/months
  • Plan will remain active until end-date (if prepaid)
  • Auto-renewal will be stopped after cancellation

3. Cancellation by Smart Library

Smart Library may suspend or cancel accounts for:

  • Violation of platform terms or abuse
  • Fraudulent activity or illegal usage
  • Non-payment of subscription dues
  • Misuse of student or institutional data

In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

4. Subscription Renewals

Users may be alerted about renewal expiry. Non-payment after expiry may lead to automatic cancellation and restricted dashboard usage until renewal.

5. Non-Cancellable Items

Cancellations are not allowed for:

  • Trial plans
  • One-time setup fees
  • Completed billing cycles
  • Custom integrations/services

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation does not automatically imply refund eligibility. Please read our Refund Policy for detailed refund conditions.
